
This post is more about my health than writing, but I think that they are connected. After all, it is hard to be inspired to write when feeling like crapp.
Recently, ulcers were added to my ever-growing list of ailments. I have adapted quite well to eating smaller meals more than ten to spare my stomach. Hello, snacks! But, what is hard for me, is that the list of foods I'm not supposed to eat is depressingly high. Hard to find anything that is both healthy and tasty.
Most of the forbidden foods are bad for me anyway, like fat and sugar, but even some healthy foods like carrots or lettuce can make me nauseated.
Luckily, I can freely eat blueberries and nuts. Yummy!
At least I know now, why I have had so so many problems with digestion and I am slowly starting to feel better.
Also, I hope that the diet will help me to lose some weight and lessen the need for medications. Most of my issues are caused by a bad diet. Perhaps I needed another reason to get my act together.
Hopefully, when my health will improve, my productivity as a writer will also.
